Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth West

Kevin was born and educated at Woodridge College in Port Elizabeth.

He obtained a B Sc. Engineering degree in electronics from the University of Natal.

He manages his own business, Haslop and Mason Engineering, which markets electrical equipment to the industry.

Kevin joined the Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth West in 2000 and served as President in 2004/2005. He has been an Assistant Governor for the past three years and served on the Training Committee in 2009/2010. In October he took a GSE team to Scotland, District 1020.

Kevin enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. He has traveled extensively in Africa with the highlights being the gorillas in Rwanda and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

He is proud to be a Rotarian, and feels the skills and tools provided to Rotarians enables them to achieve their goals in both their professional and personal lives.

Rotary District 9320 (in Zone 20A - which used to be Zone 10A) encompasses the central area of South Africa and Lesotho.

In particular:-

	the southern part of the North West Province
	the entire Free State Province
	the entire Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho
	the eastern part of the Northern Cape Province
	most of the Eastern Cape Province

District 9320's 50+ clubs (with some 1200 members) are spread over an area of some 250,000 sq. km [98,000 sq. m]. This is approximately the size of:-

	the entire UK
	the state of Oregon in the USA, or
	the state of Victoria in Australia

Whilst District 9320 is by no means the largest of all the Rotary Districts around the world, it is still quite large enough to make its DG wish he/she were a descendant of Clark Kent.

District 9320 comprises clubs ranging in size from large ones in large cities like Port Elizabeth to small ones in charming little country towns such as Colesberg.

Frank Baffoe was born in the Gold Coast, former British colony (now Republic of Ghana, Since March, 1957) on February 03, 1935. Married to Emelia. Has five adult children and eight grandchildren. Frank studied Economics, Sociology and Political Economics in Germany. He has lived in different countries as well as lectured and researched in universities in Europe, USA, Eastern and Southern Africa.
Frank left academia 24 years ago to be an entrepreneur. He is the managing director of his three family companies, Baffoe & Associates Consulting, B & A Informatics and B & A Properties.
Frank has been a Rotarian since 1983; he is a two Sapphire Paul Harris Fellow and a Rotary Benefactor. He has been a President of the two Rotary Clubs in Lesotho and he passionately enjoys Rotar. Frank believes that Rotary gives individuals opportunities to be of service to humankind, irrespective of creed, gender, race and social standing.
